What is Educational Therapy? 

Educational Therapy is the process that combines an understanding of how learning takes place in the brain with knowledge of specialized teaching methods.

Using a therapeutical approach to provide intensive, ongoing and individualized instruction for individuals with learning disabilities and other learning challenges to support them in unlocking their full potential!

As educational therapists, we develop and implement a treatment plan that is tailored to the learner’s profile taking into consideration the academic, social-emotional aspects of learning to foster independence and self-advocacy in each student to help them take control of their own learning!

Our Approach

At Blossom Educational Therapy LLC, we work with students and support them in developing skills that benefit their learner profile. By using research-based interventions and techniques, our clients are able to access school curriculum. Our goal is to motivate students in discovering their inner strengths, abilities, and find their passion.

The following are indicators that they may benefit from Educational Therapy:
  • Difficulty maintaining concentration, remembering, or paying attention

  • Delay in learning language

  • Resistance going to school

  • lack of progress at school 

  • Extreme amount of time and parent support to get homework tasks done.

  • Struggles with homework and school assignments that increase as schoolwork becomes harder.

  • Discouragement and withdrawal.
